Roof Replacement & Repairs
A roof replacement is one of the largest investments a homeowner makes, and the difference between a roof that lasts and one that fails early is almost never the shingle brand. It is the work underneath: how the decking is inspected, how the underlayment is lapped, how valleys and penetrations are flashed, and how the ventilation is balanced. We tear off to the deck, replace anything soft or delaminated, install quality synthetic underlayment, and detail every valley, sidewall, chimney, and pipe boot before the first shingle course goes down.
Not every roof needs a tear-off. When the existing layer is flat, sound, and code-allows it, a shingle recover can be a sensible way to extend protection at a lower cost, and we will tell you honestly which option your roof qualifies for. Repairs get the same attention: we trace the actual water path rather than smearing sealant over the nearest suspect, then rebuild the failed detail so the leak does not return next spring.
Gutters, Soffit & Fascia
Water that leaves the roof still has to leave the property. Undersized, sagging, or poorly pitched gutters push runoff into fascia boards, behind siding, and down against the foundation, where it becomes a far more expensive problem than the gutter itself. We install seamless gutters cut on site to the exact length of each run, hang them with hidden hangers on tight spacing, and route downspouts so water discharges well away from the house.
Gutter guards are worth it on tree-lined Utah lots where fall cleanout is a yearly chore and ice dams form where clogs hold meltwater. We also repair and replace soffit and fascia, which do double duty as trim and as part of the intake ventilation that keeps your attic dry and your shingles from cooking from below.
Siding Replacement & Repairs
Siding is the second half of the building envelope. When it fails, damage shows up slowly in sheathing, framing, and insulation long before it shows up on the wall. We replace and repair siding with proper house wrap, flashing at every window head and door, correct fastener spacing, and clean terminations at inside and outside corners so the wall can shed water and dry out.
Because we also do the roof and the gutters, the transitions that usually leak, roof-to-wall, kickout flashing at eave ends, and step flashing along dormers, are handled by one crew with one set of standards rather than argued over by two trades.
Insurance Claim Support
Utah hail and wind storms produce damage that is real but not always obvious from the driveway. We inspect the roof, gutters, soffit, siding, vents, and soft metals, document what we find with photos and measurements, and give you a clear written scope you can hand to your carrier.
We assist you every step of the way through the claim process: meeting the adjuster on site, explaining what we found, supplementing for items the initial scope missed, and building to the approved scope so your out of pocket is what your policy says it is. We do not promise outcomes we cannot control, and we never encourage filing a claim for damage that is not there.
